Queensgate commenced operations in the Cayman Islands in 1990, and has established a reputation as a premier service provider, with a largely institutional client base.

Queensgate is privately owned, ultimately by members of the Ugland family of Norway, and forms part of the Ugland Group, whose Cayman operations include significant real estate investment. The Uglands’ core business was ship ownership and management, and the group expanded operations to the Cayman Islands in 1980.

Today, we have a substantial Cayman Islands presence, including ownership of the three most prominent office buildings on central George Town’s harbour front.

Queensgate is licensed to provide a full range of offshore financial services including provision of independent non-executive directorships, accounting, and trust and company administration.

The Cayman Islands is a leading jurisdiction in the offshore world, and in particular for the domicile and servicing of offshore funds. Queensgate provides independent directors for funds managed by some of the largest investment managers in the world.
